    1. What happens if a user cancels their subscription from Paypal?
Does the aMember system automatically notify the admin?
Does it automatically shut the user out of the system?
If not: IS there a way we can automatically shut a user out of the system?

    2. How can we best test on the Paypal system?
A user signs up for a month subscription: I just want to be able to test if next months payment will actually go through!
This might sound dumb: but is there a way we can forward the clock and see if the payment goes through!?

    Thanks.

    Question 1
If a recurring payment isnt met due to lack of funds OR if a user cancels the recurring payment via Paypal you will be notified when payment comes due and doesnt proceed AND the users subscription will expire and hence they are shut out

    Question 2
No you can't speed up the calender as its Paypal that controls the calender via your product set up e.g. you tell Paypal via the product setup to rebill each month etc.

You can test it by using a recurring payment shorter than a month .
BUT you need to find someone who will allow you to use their paypal account as you cannot bill your own account.
Their is also a facility in Paypal called the "sandbox" which you can sign up for to test payments without money changing hands

I started new thread regarding this, but I noticed that for at least a year and a half now -- PayPal attempts payment a few times, when failed completely, the account is cancelled in PayPal. However, in aMember, it still shows active and user has access.

Just discovered this and now going through dozens of these accounts and shutting them down by hand.

Would like to know if there's a fix.
    thanks

aMember should have expired the accounts. Over the last few days there has been an issue with paypal IPN not being issued for recurring subscriptions and cancellations. This may have happened then too.

Im wondering if its an account specific thing with Paypal (only affecting certain paypal accounts) or something in your setup as I have not experienced this problem with failed Paypal accounts. My system simply expires the subscriptions when they are due for payment and payment fails
