Hello all, I've been using aMember for a few years without problems. My hosting company was allowing me to take payments (via Authorize.net) through their merchant account. It was great, because I never needed to set anything up myself. And of course the payment process was very seamless for the user. ......I simply went to the mailbox every month for my check. But just last week, they decided to stop providing the merchant account, and suggested for me to switch to PayPal. I have had my own PayPal account for a long time, only to make the occasional payment for something online. But I'm very confused on how to set it up to work with aMember. My main problem is, the menu options described in the aMember online docs do NOT appear on my PayPal profile page (Instant Payment Notification Preferences and Website Payment Preferences).....is this because I need some special PayPal account? Can anyone outline the setup process for a PayPal newbie? I don't need recurring payments (although it would be nice). I just need to get payment processing started back up asap, for as little cost as possible. Thank you!!
You need to update your account to premiere. You'll then be able to take recurring payments, set up IPN etc.. I have a video tutorial available on my site (paid). David
