    Hi,

I am in the process of setting up a new site, for which I have just bought and configured aMemebr, which will offer a monthly subscription service.

    1) Will be a standard monthly recurring subscription (charged @ $150/month). This will be easy to configure from what I have seen, and no issues here.

    2) Will be an "introductory offer". This is a 3-month subscription, charged @ $100/month for a minimum of 3 months (I don't want subcribers to this service to have to pay the full 3 month amount upfront, but rather lock them in to 3 monthly installments of $100. Is there a way to do this?).I want to make sure users cannot subscribe to this service, and pay the first months subscription at the discounted price and then discontinue subscription. After the 3-months have expired users will automatically be charged a recurring $125/month on a recurring basis.

It would be great if someone who has done this/or knows what to do in this situation, can help me out in relation to which plugin to user, type of paypal account I will need and config setting...

    thanks in advance :)

First is possible without a problem.
Second is not possible. And as far as I understood this even is not possible with paypal at all because require more then 3 trial periods.

    Thanks Alex..

I assume for the #1 all I need is a "premium PayPal" account and the "paypal_r plugin". correct?

You need to set paypal to a premium account, set the ipn and a few other things in the plugin readme.
