Hello, i was wondering. i really want to use a site subscription module for php-nuke but not everyting is clear to me. i want that when a visitor comes register at my site they see the subscription "IN" the site. i dont want him to show other pages,it must be "within" primairy site also i dont want him to make 2 memberships, but just 1 for php-nuke,for example like in Oscommerce. So as soon the visitor wants to see content from the site he will get a page that say's he/she needs to pay first before getting acces to the site's content, and then proceed to payment options, when these are done, he ore she gets acces to all,ore what was paid for. So is it functioning like that. A good thing todo was to make some GOOD Demo's abouth all these plug-ins ore make a page for who's using what so people can see more abouth the product. Grtzz Henry i hope to get a respond to this whitehat44@hotmail.com
Hi Henry, There is a module available for PHP-Nuke called NukeWrap (availabel at www.spidean.mckenzies.net) which will integrate aMemberPro just fine. I have it running with MD-Pro (a PostNuke variation) and a new member sees the signup form IN the site as well as the payment processing. The only thing that is a little strange, and is fixed by altering the templates, is that the new member cannot click on the Product link to sign into the portal. At least I haven't figured out a way to do it. - Alan
Well this is the trouble that needs to be worked out properly couse it must be able to run inside nuke...this is what a nuke user expect when he buy's a script that is worth $140 (even free modules are made to work inside nuke) couse take a look at Oscommerce...al payment going true main site recently osc2nuke make oscommerce into a php-nuke site also the payments going true mainsite...aswell as many other cart modules so what i think..and this is just my opinion..no hard feelings is: it shut atleast work that way when you buy a plug-in also for any other portal ore forum plug-in. i still believe in Amember and i know it can work this way it can be that hard to let Amember work inside nuke...and let the Youre account be the subscription and login for Amember that is in php-nuke couse if a new user doesnt do the payment and his subscription is put on hold....the session is auto deleted after a while. this option is already in nuke ore is it NSN GRoup (?). maby make a contribution section for people in here that made some nice tweaks for issues like this and let them share in here...maby only for people that already buyed.i dont think it would be a shame for the devellopers of Amember to make such a section, couse it could do some good improvement to the main script...and we all now that 2 people now more as 1 person...so what do you think???
