Can someone please tell me how I can update the database information in amember? Where is that stored in amember? I have searched all the files and cannot figure it out. In a moment of bad judgement I deleted the database that amember used. I am getting it pulled back up by host but will need to create a new one and import the info. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks! I appreciate it! Now it seems as if that is not my problem. I was mistaken and that was NOT the database that I deleted. Everything shows to be ok and the information correct in the config.inc.php file to access the database. Yet I get this message: Cannot connect to MySQL: I was confused before, but figured once I had it restored that I could have it up and running. I DID delete the database for a wordpress installation that I had as a "product" inside amember. Could that possibly be affecting it?
You can test this by renaming your wordpress plugin directory (amember\plugins\protect\wordpres and seeing if the error goes away. You can then change the directory name back and disable or reconfigure the plugin.
@skippybosco That doesn't work, I get a whole other separate error message. I can't disable the the plugin since I can't get into admin side of amember at all either.

what is the "whole other separate error message" ? Can you post what you are trying to do and what the exact messages you are receiving are?
Thanks for your help. I finally just decided to dump everything and start from scratch. Given that I have done this before I was able to only age a couple of years.
