    Let's go down the checklist:

    * aMember works great -- check!
    * My website's ready -- check!
    * Merch approval from bank -- yikes, taking forever!

    Would anyone care to suggest a payment processing company that they've used with aMember and would recommend, at the least until my bank comes through?

    My criteria are:
    * No CC info held in aMember
    * USA
    * No rebill needed
    * Not Paypal or Clickbank or 2Checkout

    Thanks for your advice and suggestions.

    authorize.net

    I believe authorize.net has 2 versions
    1) AIM.
    stores credit card

    2) SIM. no recurrent billing

    so authorize.net does not meet my criteria because I need recurrent billing without storing the credit card. any recommendations?

    why don't you like clickbank ?

    sim

    I talked to authorize.net today. they said 1) SIM does have recurrent billing 2) you don't have to go thru a reseller. you can buy from authorize.net directly. $300 set up fee. sitepoint.com article says authorize.net is synonymous with gateway.

    however, cheaper to use Wells Fargo, which includes authorize.net

    1) Yes, SIM have recurring billing, but you will have to deal with it manually, there is no integration abilities.

    I use google, moneybookers, and multicards (multicards have to charge a 12% processing fee because I sell products)
