    Hi,

I submitted a trouble ticket at 1:30am on Wednesday (where I am, that's half an hour before the help desk opened on Wednesday) and I haven't heard anything back. That means you guys have had all day Wednesday, all day Thursday, and now we're heading into day 3 (4:30am on Friday), which is way more than the guaranteed 24-hour response time. I don't know if you guys suddenly got slammed with a bunch of tickets or you just haven't been able to figure out what's causing my problem or what, but I'd appreciate a response before you guys disappear for the weekend (which is 11am my time, meaning there's only about 6 hours left). Even something like, "We're looking into it," would be fine. At least I would know something was happening.

For anyone else who may recognize this problem and know how to fix it in the mean time, this is what's going on.

I'm using PayPal Sandbox to test payment processing and it doesn't seem to be working right, though when I was testing this last week, it was working fine. Then somehow the php mail function was apparently turned off on my server, but I got my hosting provider to turn it back on as aMember's tech requested. But now some very important piece of data doesn't seem to be getting passed and I have no idea what that is or how to fix it.

When I sign up for a membership and select PayPal as the payment method, everything seems to work fine. I get the account verification e-mail, I click the link in the e-mail, I get sent to the PayPal Test site and complete payment with my fake buyer account, but when I click on the link to return to my site, the receipt (thanks.php?payment_id=93) only shows the payment ID number, but no receipt number or date and time of payment (though it acts like payment has been completed by thanking me for my payment). But when I go to my member account, it says I have no paid memberships. Then when I check my payment history, it shows the membership as Not Paid, even though I've received notices from PayPal Sandbox for both my fake buyer and seller accounts saying payment was sent and received. Also, the custom e-mail I've set up for each membership is not being sent (presumably because the membership isn't registering as having been paid).

As far as I know, my settings in aMember are correct to use PayPal Sandbox. I have the fake seller's account e-mail address as the PayPal primary e-mail address in aMember and have selected Yes for PayPal Sandbox.

I was planning on opening my site on August 1st, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen now, with losing 3 days of testing time.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Kodi

PS I included all my login info in the trouble ticket, but I'm not posting it here for security reasons.
