Greetings Folks, I've got a quick question for the experts I am plugging in Infusion CRM as my shopping cart / primary database and want to ensure that my amember software works properly - and immediately. So here's my question: 1.) I know that there is an Amember plugin available that basically syncs the 2 pieces of software together through an API. 2.) If somebody subscribes and pays - will they have access to the protected files immediately upon subscription? 3.) If not, how do I make it so that happens? 4.) Also, how do I ensure that when they sign up they are using a unique username/password as this was usually handled by amember. Thanks for your help! Jason
No they will not have access immediately. User will have access only when databases will by synced by cron (within one - two hours) Logins are checked by aMember on signup so this should work without a problem.
Hi Alex, Ok - so one more question about this then - the client purchases subscription through infusion software - they get a welcome e-mail via auto-responder through infusion software - should they also get the sign up e-mail through amember...or am I simply making this more complicated than it should be? Also, is there any way to schedule the cron job to run more frequently than 1 - 2 hours? thanks, Jason
You can configure this both ways. You can send email or can disable this. In regards to cron job this is not recommended. This will affect performance of the server.
Alex, Here's another important question - since I'm plugging in INFUSION CRM, what will happen to all of my current subscriptions in regard to processing of payments? By this I mean, do I have to manually sign up all of my subscribers again or will they automatically be billed via my amember/infusion system. Just want to be sure how this works - also can you please e-mail me once again the link to purchase the plugin? thanks, jason
Yes, I'd love to see the purchase link for this Infusion module as well.. Can someone provide it.. I've looked on the "normal" list of amember plugins, but I can't see it.. Can someone help.. Bruce
Yes, I'd like to the InfusionCRM plugin as well. Also, does anybody know a way around this 1-2 hour delay? If you can send e-mails using aMember at time of sign up, why can't you give them immediate access? I see this as a big negative, since most people will want instant gratification.
Infusionsoft CRM Plugin for Amember Hey guys... I am also interested in the Infusion plugin for Amember... that's the only thing holding me back from Amember! Once I know the systems will integrate seamlessly, I'll jump ship! Also, I agree... we need instant gratification, the 1-2 hour cron job delay is a pain. What if we're on a dedicated server, do you still think it's not a good idea to have a more frequent cron job? Or is there any other solutions to provide instant gratification? Thanks!
Another request for the Infusionsoft Plugin Hey... New potential customer here. I am interested in a plugin to get Infusionsoft to work with aMember. This would be huge for me. PM me or email jordanhatch@gmail.com. Thanks, Jordan
Infusion integration... makes users wait an hour? I'm looking for a membership site that integrates with Infusion CRM. From this thread, I'm gathering that the Infusion connect would not let customers download their member content immediately upon ordering. Is that true?
The way I set it up for a client was to put the infusion signup in front of amember, after signing up with infusion, they are brought to the amember signup which actually gives them a free lifetime membership. Had to do some customizations to make sure it was secure, and the client needs to manually cancel members. Not the best solution, but it works and members get instant access. David
Question For David David, I am trying to get my membership site to work with Infusion software as the shopping cart. I have the plugin installed on amember but am having a hard time setting up my shopping cart. I want to be able to give members who buy my product instant access to the member site. Your comment is still unclear to me… I know how to redirect the infusion shopping cart but I do not know how to protect the free sign up page. You said you had to do some customizing for this sign up page. How do I do this?... Or who can I hire to do this for me. I have a programmer working on a few of my member sites but I am not sure if he will know how this is done. Can you please give me some guidance on how I or my programmer can do this or who I can hire to do it for me? Thank you in advance for your reply, Calvin
I haven't worked directly with the infusion plugin so can't advise on how to best integrate that- can only explain how to set it up the way I described, redirect with a free membership. This is a bit detailed so would only put it up on my own forum. David
what's the verdict on cron job? Did anyone have an answer for guru_jason? Or if you, guru_jason, found out the answer and could post it here would be much appreciated The question is: What happens with existing members when switching over to Infusion (from 1shoppingcart in my case) Will there be a problem with the recurring billing? 2) What is the latest verdict on more frequent cron jobs? 2 hours is unacceptable for my business "Not recommended because it affects server performance" sound a little vague. What does it mean? Affect performance in what way? What if you a have cron job every 10 minutes? Please help. Thanks
sorry to bring up a old thread, but I can't find the url of the cron job for the infusionsoft plugin. I have it installed, linked to a customer tag, I just need the cron job to start the syncing. Thanks
