Posting hyperlink into eMail templates

Can someone please tell me how to insert a hyperlink into the eMail templates?

I'm setting up a series of eMails for new customers in which I want to link to a page in my website.

I'm sure it's simple, but I can't work out how to insert the link or preview the page.

Any help much appreciated.

Hyperlink? you mean like a <a href type tag?
Switch the email sent from text to html

If you are sending text URLs, the email program of the receiver will decide to show hyperlinked urls or not.
