I'd like to setup amember on a test site so I can get the feel for things and make sure I know what I'm doing. I'm working on content but not set on a final domain name for membership site. My question is can I move amember from the test site domain to the final domain once I have things set up. It takes me longer than average to figure these things out so I need to start working on this now but don't want to get stuck leaving the membership site on the test site's domain.

You can use the trial version of aMember on any domain.. or when you buy aMember you are given a 'localhost' key that will let you run aMember in a localhost mode.

Lastly, if you explain your situation to support I suspect they will be able to be flexible.

Why not put it on the final domain, in a subdirectory?
You can have multiple versions of amember on the same domain.
    /copy1/
    /copy2/

You just need to be sure to use different databases.

If I read it correctly, it was because the final domain name was unknown:
