I'm testing the demo of aMember. I'm very impressed with the product and my be interested in purchasing it. Can you tell me if the Pro (purchased) version is also encoded though ionCube or is that just a protection for the trial version.

    Thanks,

    Fish

Hi Fish, a few 'backend' files in Pro are encoded but the vast majority is not so you can integrate it seamlessly easily enough (see http://www.pnirs.org/membership for an example).

Thanks for the reply. You site looks great. So most of the php files that control most of aMember are not encoded so I can make changes where necessary? I know the "template" (html) files are not encoded, but that leaves my hands tied a bit. Just want to be sure what I'm getting before I buy it. It seems like a great app for $150. I understand wanting to protect their code. But I'd like to know what I'm getting into. It's kinda tough to tell.

    Thanks.

Yes, only 2 files in aMember Pro are encoded. We can provide source of amember/plugins/db/mysql/mysql.inc.php by request

Another file source is never needed for customization, but if such customization is needed, we will just do it for free.
