Ive got an account (ticketsclub) with verotel and i think ive set everything up properly. but when i run a test this is all im getting: VEROTEL ERROR: finish_waiting_payment error: Incorrect amount for payment and they wont authorise my account until this issue is sorted. I really wanted to use amember with verotel as my website is an adult one and ive tried around 8 other companies and verotel were the only ones to take us on board so to speak. i did run a search and saw a post that alex was on about problems with verotel, i really hope that i have not installed everything in vain and that i wont be able to use verotel. I would really like advice in the forum please as i can sort the problem out myself if i know what to look for. if anyone else has got round this please let me know or if anyone knows a good processor that accepts adult sites, new signups with little startup fees then let me know in here. if anyone helps me sort this out i will give them some free software. clive.
just to add, i really hope with fingers crossed that you can help and will keep the support for verotel because they are ideal for us at the minute. their affiliate scheme is also ideal.
FIXED!!! Just in case anyone else has the same problems as i did here is what happened. i set up amember with verotel as the pocessor, i went into verotel and set everything up their end. they ask you to run a test before your authorization but the test at verotel only works with their own script. not with amembers. I contacted their support and i asked them to authorise the site anyway then do a test which they did and hey presto everything is now working 100% fine!. so i would recommend verotel, i would recommend amember it is a very useful script. the documentation needs better explaining for people who have never installed it before and if i get time ill do an unofficial write up/document explaining everything. thanks.
Hiya clive, so for your verotel you told them to forget the testing and to just authorize? How did you do that? They won't talk to use with successful tests. Also are you leaving the scret field blank or are you using the secret code text? Also can you be more specific about the "i went into verotel and set everything up their end" Cheers!
Getting error: Incorrect amount for payment Well asking VEROTEL to turn on the system and run the test works. That all worked fine, but now I see that once we've been activated we have a 2% "automatic refund" rate. This is making members unhappy. What happens is the member registers and recieves a login & password. VEROTEL takes their money. Then immediately attempts to cancel the membership. They send 2 emails. One to the member that there is a problem with the registration and that they will get their money in less than 4 weeks. You get an email saying there is an issue and to fix it. Looking at the errorlog in amembers all I see is: VEROTEL ERROR: finish_waiting_payment error: Incorrect amount for payment (Details: invoice:343) The amounts in VEROTEL and the amounts in amembers match exactly. So there must be something else... HELP!!! Any clues or suggestions?? VEROTEL of course what to use their script -- DUH!
