Using AuthorizeNet (AIM), how would one handle an upgrade from one for-fee membership to another for-fee membership?

Would I have to manually go into my merchant account interface and alter the recurring billing amount there? Or, can aMember handle the change of membership and the recurring billing itself?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Steve, you can cancel recurring billing for existing subscription (from amember/member.php being logged-in as the client).

Then add subscription via aMember CP to new product with the following details:
    - paysystem: authorize.net aim
    - product: new one
    - start date: today
    - expiration date: tomorrow or any later date (user will be re-billed on given date)
    - payment amount : 0 (user will be charged according to product price)

    Hi Alex,

To clarify, are you saying that I would have to go into the admin CP to assign the user to a new membership level? Or would they be able to do it themselves after cancelling the existing subscription?

    Thanks.

Yes, then can do that as well, but they will be required to pay immediately.

Unfortunately, there is no automated ways to do that, but if you need to change it for all users, just change product settings!
