What is the difference between product category and product? How does this affect how my members sign up or use the site? For example, if I have a 'Bronze' package - surely this is the product. But then why do I need a category?
A category can be used to group together products for whatever reason you want. There are several places within aMember where you could reference a category. For example, you can email to a category and it would go to all users with a product within that category. Note that aMember interchanges the word "Group" and "Category" and the use of categories is totally optional.
I am looking to see if it is posible to use the Category option to be able to display on the sign up page for spesific category selected and its products. e.g. http://amemberdomain.com/signup/index?Category just to display the products in the category to display on the sign up page?
