product duration exact date

    What exactly is the exact date option in the product duration? Is that a subscription for only that one day? or is it a subscription from today's date UNTIL that exact date.

    ie: if today is April 1 and the duration exact date is Dec 31, the subscription would be from today until Dec 31st?
