I'm testing out the free trial to determine if amember is the right solution for my business. My scenario is this,
My store will offer subscriptions for approximately 500 different products. Because there are so many products, I would love to group the products by type on the signup page as well as any other place they are listed. Is it possible to implement this on the site? I am only talking about 7-10 groups.
Would such a change require a new field in the products table? And, if so, are there any constraints on the DB which would cause a failure.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Are you selling individual products or subscriptions? If they are products, then you want to look for a shopping cart solution - maybe oscommerce. aMember is a subscription payment system.

Thank you for your reply. I'm selling subscriptions. We only have 1 true product, and it is based on a yearly subscription. However, there are multiple subscriptions per user possible. On average, we are selling 5-15 subscriptions per customer. Each subscription, however, can be classified into several distinct groups. I would like all these groups visible on the signup sheet. In fact, if there was a way to have collapsible menus for the groups, that would be ideal.
