Hi, at the moment i have 2 folders: one of which is protected behind amember. I would now like to add another folder but have 3-4 pages unprotected so people can have a taster of the product. is there a way of doing this? thanks in advance.
For individual php pages you can use the php include protect. I think if you are getting into teaser text, more sophisticated content serving, you need to look into a cms system like a wordpress/amember combo. David
thanks so much for your reply, php? well its just a html page what i made in a website builder, not joomler or anything like that. I just want the first 2 or 3 pages accessible and then the rest protected. but i will look into whether its a php page though i v much doubt it is. thanks again
The easiest way to achieve what you want would be to put all of your taster files in one directory that you either unprotect the folder completely or that you protect it but have people to register free of charge. With the last method you can follow-up to see if they like the material, what else they would like, etc.
