You can not protect directories generated by the Joomla SEO. You need to create REAL directories and protect them with amember. You can then link to them from within your joomla content. David
Oh... thank you David. I guess you must be kind of tired of these questions posted on the forums. Guess I have two options left: 1. Do as you suggested, having real content folders (I hope joomla has some CMS-like way of doing that) 2. Write/Hack/Invoke some type of Joomla! plugin that takes into accout the rewriten url (something like the php include method?) and validates it against the list of "directories" that that particular member can access... Is this a limitation of lack of integration with Joomla, or a limitation with all integrated CMSs? This would be a real asset, don't you think? Thanks again.
No prob with the questions. I think you are misunderstanding the CMS/amember integration. I suggest that you make the article content in the CMS, and embed the videos etc.. that you want in the article. The embeded videos would be "pulled" from an amember protected directory. You need to manually make these directories using your FTP program- these directories are like storage units for your video, while the CMS is the front end display system. David
