    Hi all.

New to this so please be kind.

    My set up.

    SITE URL http://www.mysite.co.uk
    WEB ROOT /homepages/41/d43000764/htdocs/e-finity/

    DIRECTORY OFF SITE ROOT members

In the member directory I have a .htaccess file, see below.

    AuthType Basic
    AuthName "Members Only"
    AuthUserFile /homepages/41/d43000764/htdocs/e-finity/amember/data/.htpasswd
    AuthGroupFile /homepages/41/d43000764/htdocs/e-finity/amember/data/.htgroup
    Require group PRODUCT_1

I have one (1) product set up with the product url set to /members

In the /members/data directory there two (2) files, .htgroup and .htpasswd.

The .htgroup file contains the following:

    PRODUCT_1: dcjones

The .htpasswd file contains the following:

dcjones: *followed by the scramble password*

    THE PROBLEM:

When I login the script accepts the uername and password bring up a page tell me it is redirection, AND THEN the windows login window appears.

I have been playing with this all day. Can someone help please.

Kind regards, keep safe and well.

    Dereck
