Fellow aMember Groupies I have been using aMember for a while and decided to implement periodic email. My goal is to turn off "sign-up" email and have each member receives a thank you/confirmation email that is specific to membership package they bought. This all looks simple, but I cannot seem to get it to work. So a few questions for the group. 1. There is a place to enter periodic email in the configuration page and there is a place to enter periodic email on each product's page. Am I to assume if you enter a periodic email file on the confirmation page that it will get sent on each purchase and only those entered on an product's page will get sent when the given product is sold? 2. I made a copy of "sign up.txt" that is sent out to all new signups and named it "0-test.txt" and placed it in the templates folder. I then went to a specific products page and entered "0-test.txt" as a file to use for periodic email. 3. When I order this product I do receive the periodic email immediately after an order, but the mail is blank. Any ideas ? Grant
Email template filename must be: test.txt 0 here is count of days. For example, 1 means sent email on the next day after order. 30 - after 30 days. 0 - send immedately. \ dash delimites count of days and filename.
