I'm trying to understand exactly how the filtering system works on the Email Users page. In an example scenario, if five users are subscribed to group 1, and out of those users, three are subscribed to group 2. If email is sent and filter is set as such: Assigned to usergroup (1) Not assigned to usergroup (2) Will the email be sent only to the 2 users in group 1 who are not assigned to group 2? PS: I promise this isn't one of those trick questions, although it looks like one
I suggest you apply filters then look at the top left corner to see the exact effect. It gives you the exact count and you can even look at the list of users.

Yep, it is good stuff. Even if you have aMember integrated with a 3rd party email service, this feature is good for filtering down to a real specific group for special emailings.
