Question for IPB Plugin users

When a user subcribes in amember, his details are added to IPB to the group specified in the amember product.

When their subscription expires, their IPB group should change to the default set-up in the amember IPB config (don't know if this works as I have not managed to test it yet).

My questions relate to subscribers added manually in the amember Admin CP.

There is no facility in the add user form to specify which group in IPB to add them too. I thought amember would automatically subscribe them to the default group for members whose subscriptions had expired - but it doesn't appear to. Has anyone come across a mod to do this - or know how to add it?

Also, once a user is added to the IPB database, does anyone know how to change their group in IPB? I tried a post on IPB forums, but so far no reply.

    Thanks for any guidance offered.

When you add user, you usually add a subscription for him to a product. When you do this, user will be assigned usergroup assotiated with given product.

When you just add user profile, aMember really doesn't take any actions.

After intsllaing the board and plugin, the two settings to pay attention to are:
-In the product description you set which IPB member permissions go with that product.
-In the IPS setup you set the member permission that the membership should revert to after expirtation.
