In the description for the autocoupon module, it says that it will generate a unique coupon code when the placeholder is used in an email template. If I'm sending an email out to 1000 members, do I need to define the coupon batch to generate 1000 different codes, or how does this work? What I'd like to do is set up an autoresponder that will give a 20% discount coupon to all new members X days after they join. Ideally, the coupon would expire Y days after that.
Number of coupons within batch does not matter. It can be even empty. Plugin will create new coupon within batch on its own. The main issue here is it is not possible to set expiration for particular coupon code. You can set expiration only to batch at whole and I guess it is not desired behavior.
Thanks for the clarification, Caesar. What confused me was that the number of coupons within the batch gets set when the batch is created. Please consider this a feature request -- to be able to define the expiration date as a function of member signup date to the product.
