was wondering if the below release fix's the expiration end date.... rather then expire on cancelation... or if that is coming soon aMember Pro 3.0.2 (beta) released -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE TARGET: bugfix release, paypal_r plugin rewritten CHANGES SINCE 3.0.1: - improved tax handling for "paypal_r" plugin (non-recurring transactions); aMember will hovewer always pass "tax" = 0.00 for recurring transactions; - thanks.php will now be delayed up to 15 seconds (if necessary) to wait for PayPal background postback; - Coupons will now give discount only for first payment while used with PayPal recurring; - Coupons now cannot be used with Paypal trial periods; - Paypal_r plugin CHANGED: there will be now a separate line for each recurring payment - for better stats; - HTML editor (in e-mail templates) will now use absolute URLs instead of relative; - added locale support for dates formatting; - added Swedish translation; - tax report added;
I'm not aware on any bugs related with expirations or cancellations in recent versions of aMember. If you know such a bug, please let us know immediately.
What im saying is... right now the plugin is set to Expire subscriptions upon cancelation which is fine. but it would be nicer if it would just whenever it receives a subscription payment to just add a month to the REAL expire date rather then setting some bogus year like 2012.
It still uses bogus date for last subscription, because it is hard to calculate dates the same as PayPal does. In fact, while subscription is a recurring, you don't know expiration date. It is not-defined.
> Expire subscriptions upon cancelation why do the subs expire at cancel ? they should remain active until the period that the user paid is expired!
