What does the (!) mean by the vbulletin listing on the plugins page? I take it there is some side note somewhere about it. The deal is that I'm going to be running a private, closed forum on vbulletin as a paid membership site. I was originally just going to let people pay through paypal on the forum itself but I like the idea of getting amember to do all of the work. Here are my questions: Does amember have a thing where the user can sign up using an amember page, and then it automatically adds that user's username and password of choice to Vbulletin? I'd like it to add them to a particular special group that I set up on vbulletin and automatically set them a specified amount of time that they pay for (if they pay for one month, they'll get one month on the board, if they pay for two months, they get two months, etc). Is all of that possible? I'll have different options such as 1 month's time, 3 month's, 6 months and a year etc. Can the user select a different membership time and when the purchase is complete, it gives them that amount of time to the paid subscription on vbulletin? I'd also like it to remove them and set them to a normal registered user once that time runs out. I was originally going to use paypal on the vbulletin forum itself, so can amember let the user select ANY kind of payment method (paypal, clickbank, CC etc) and no matter how it's paid for, they're added to the forum? I've got an open vbulletin forum for registration and I keep the private section closed for paying members only. If a user signs up on vbulletin and wishes to upgrade their account to paid status, is it possible to somehow do that on the amember software, or would that user have to either do it through the board itself or contact me directly so I can meddle with an already-existing account on the forum?
Yes, aMember will work exactly as you described, it is all possible to do. You will not need to enable payment module in the vBulletin itself.
