Quick Question about protection

    When using htaccess will it protect the sub directories within the protected directories? for example I am protecting /secure with it protect /secure/2004 & /secure/2003 or do I need to add protection to all sub directories?

    It will protect them all - in fact you should NOT put a seperate .htaccess file in sub-directories.
