- are they meant as an alternative to 'captcha', a test for humans? Don't want to implement this first and find out later it's something completely different...
Did you have any problems with enabling this? I have mine set, the questions display, but all answers are coming back as incorrect. Sample: How many legs do dogs have?|four
I haven't set it up yet - but I will let you know how it goes. (I have a complicated situation where I copy Amember code to create login forms on my own pages - and it turns out that in version 4 there are many, many ways to get this wrong. So I need to set aside an hour or three for testing when I want to change anything. Hopefully later today...) If it's not behaving as expected, though, this sounds like a question for the helpdesk. That reminds me... I have a couple of questions for Amember staff about this, too: 1) What do you mean by 'register' of the answers, that doesn't matter? Do you mean capitalisation, 'four' is the same as 'Four'? 2) How can I change the wording of 'please answer the above question' that appears on the form? It's not in the editable phrases.
Hilary you change it in 'Forms Configuration>Random Questions>Labels' Cerberos with your example might be good idea to also include the answer 4
Thanks. I just realised how slow I am. Obviously I can't use the random questions thing with a form Amember doesn't generate directly, because it selects its random q&a as it generates the form. Time to send in a support ticket, I think, and see if the kind people at Amember can do something ingenious.
Thanks for the reply. I did have that set initially, but thought that may be part of the complication(s). Still no luck...
