All our subscription payment information must be stored in our QuickBooks Pro accounting software. Since we use PayPal, I can download the payments directly into QuickBooks.

The problem is we receive some payments via U.S. mail. I don't want to enter them twice into QuickBooks and aMember.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this? I did notice that QuickBooks has an API.

Can QuickBooks accept CSV (comma-separated text) files which aMember CP -> Export may generate?

    Yes, QuickBooks can import CSVs.

I'll need to manually enter users into aMember that do not have email addresses, which it looks like aMember can handle. Correct? I realize it won't send the renewals via email. I'll probably need to create a custom report of expiring members without emails -- or give them a no_email@ourdomain.com that goes to me and reminds me to mail a renewal to them.

The possible problem is aMember exports more customers than I want. I'd only want to export the Manual Pays. I can probably hack that option. I'd also want to limit it to a specific fiscal year.

It looks like QuickBooks can handle importing the same records more than once.

Yes, aMember can work with customers without e-mails.

Also, it is easy to filter out only "manual" payment records. It can be done in PHP code, or by filtering CSV file in MS Excel.
