Hi, I was trying to protect the folder where I have my wordpress (so no one with no suscription can access to that URL directly) and using the Htpassword option, I got an 500 Internal Error on my Wordpress. I tried the Rebuild Database (under utilies) andI got this message: Rebuilding Htpasswd Db... An internal error happened in the script, please contact webmaster for details Please contact webmaster: XXXXX Incorrect response received. Stopped! Any advice? Thanks.
In regards to internal server error, can you check your amember CP -> Error log. Error message and backtrack info should be available in log. Can you paste it here? In regards to protection, check server error log, error should be logged here. Also, try to install aMember plugin into wordpress and use it for protection (it have an option to protect whole blog)
