If a member's subscription is a recurring 12 month and prior to making all 12 payments, their membership is expired because the credit card expires or some other reason the bank denies payment, can I (admin) manually re-start their subscription manually if they update their credit card information?

Yes, simply go in and manually edit their subscription to expire tomorrow. Tonight's cron will then recharge their card and extend their subscription. Just be aware that it will be extended a full month from now. If they are on a previously set schedule, you may want to go back in tomorrow and manually change their end date to the original one.

    For example...

John Doe's subscription started on Jan 5. Every month, he is billed on the 5th.

On August 19, his card expires.

On Sept 5, his card fails.

On Sept 10, after a message from you, he updates his card in your system.

On Sept 11, his card processes successfully, and his new schedule is now to be charged on the 11th of every month.

You can go in on Sept 12 and change his current subscription to expire on Oct 5, so the next time he will be charged is Oct 5, and you are back on track.
