hello, i am having problem. recurring billings do not work. can anyone help? i have put the product duration to 1 day and have enabled external cron, and there a 2 users assigned to this product, but they are not rebilled. please help thnx
A little information please ...... Is it a trial copy or Pro? Is it a live or test site? Have you configured the payment plugin What payment plugin are you using? Are you using the same credit card that you used to verify your payment processor account? If Paypal is it a sandbox account? Are all the little green lights on?
thanks for your reply Pro A new site, still on test, but the live site will be on it Yes Payflow_pro, paypal Yes No Which green lights? I have set up a test product, and assigned 2 test members to it, who have paid. The subscription duration is for 1 day, and when the subscription is over, the members are not rebilled. the cron is working correctly.
Not sure about payflow, but I know with PayPal, it is PayPal that controls the subscription. aMember will initiate the creation of the subscription but aMember can't rebill them - it's PayPal that does the rebilling. if you have an existing member and you "assign them" a product and payment system, it won't make the payment take place...
I use PayFlow and recurring has never been a problem. I'm sure that you have done this.. but when creating the product make sure you tick the rebilling box. Also make sure you have the "Duration" and "Trial 1 Duration" set. I rebill every 30 days and have both set to 30 days. You also need to have your cron job set, that is a must for recurring. *From reading what you did it seems you have done all this, but it always helps to double check. Make sure that in "Setup/Configuration" -> advanced -> you have "Use External Cron" checked. Other than that it may be the way the plugin is installed. Sometimes PayFlow can be a pain.
