My amember site uses Paypal and 2Checkout as the recurring payment processors. Paypal recurring payments show in my amember reports but 2Checkout payments don't. I understand this is because Paypal returns this information to aMember but 2CO (and presumably other payment processors) don't. As a result, my aMember payment reports are inaccurate since they only include Paypal results. Are there solutions that other users use to get more accurate reports? Perhaps getting the reports to estimate recurring payments until cancellation rather than relying on actual payments reported? Thanks in advance!
Membership Statistics Software As there were no replies to my post above, I assume there is no such solution on the market today. As I'm very interested in such a solution for my own business, I'm considering starting my own membership reporting site, that would be integrated with aMember to provide me with all the stats I'm looking for. I'm curious to see if others out there would be interested in the same thing, in which case I could make a new business out of it. In order to add value to it, the site could combine with Google Analytics to give you additional reports, including: - Standard Google Analytics reports including traffic to your site, traffic sources, search keywords, conversions etc. - Use of subscription recurring dates to generate reports of payments from all payment processors, even ones that don't report directly to aMember, giving you more accurate data. - Income prediction of future months based on subscriptions scheduled to renew. - Key metrics of your current membership base including - Top subscribers by revenue / membership period - Average lifetime value per subscriber - Average subscription length - Average monthly revenue per subscriber - Churn rate (% of customers lost each month) - Comparison of current year statistics vs previous year I know there are some excellent 3rd party reporting tools out there already that provide some of the data above. The main new benefit would be the future income prediction feature. If there are others out there who would benefit from this, please let me know. I would also be interested in hearing of any missing reports above that you think might be of value to you. Regards.
Yes indeed. I like what he has done there. My only issue is that in my situation the report values it uses would be incorrect, because not all my payment processors send recurring payment notifications back to aMember. I'm looking for a solution that would predict the payments based on the recurring payment schedule, and also allow me to predict revenue for future months. If nobody has such a solution, I would be happy to create one for my needs. If anyone else is interested in using it, please let me know.
Ken has laid a pretty significant groundwork for what you need. I'd suggest contacting him directly to figure out what would be needed to generate your custom report on his existing platform instead of creating one from scratch. Will save you a ton of money and effort in the log run.
