Is it possible to support Recurring billing without having a SSL Certificate? if so, how and how is it still secure?

Yes, it is possible if your payment processor is asking for credit card info on their own website - for example PayPal or 2Checkout.

Cool, so i can protect my site, enable automatic recurring subscriptions and not required to use a personal SSL cert? Sounds like 2checkout may be they way to go. Ill look into it some more but can you think of any others that allow this also? Its really important that i have the automatic recurring subscriptions but im trying to weigh the cost difference in the higher % per transaction etc of 2checkout vs. the cert price etc.

    Thanks Alex! :)

Another options: PayPal.Com, WorldPay.Com - these are most popular.
