    Hi,

We're currently trialing aMember because it fits our client's requirements perfectly. However, as I was getting ready to pay for the licence, I've encountered a bizarre problem.

Assume my site's URL is www.mysite.com. I created a new product called "tips", protected its directory (www.mysite.com/tips) and added a new user that is a member of the "tips" product.

First time I checked the application, eveything worked fantastic...However, after playing around with adding more users / deleting existing user / adding more products, I encountered a problem:

Every time I try to log-in with a valid username and password, the script takes AGES to load...As a matter of fact, IE and Opera just show the progress bar slowly filling and that's it! From Firefox, I got this bizarre message : "Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load requested page." I tried adding the site to my "trusted sites" from the security settings and I'm getting the same error...I deleted the "tips" directory and all protections / users / products, created new ones with a different name and still the same problem.

What's even more bizarre is that when accessing the member's page (www.mysite.com/amember/member.php), the membership information is shown perfectly correct including all subscriptions...

It seems like an Apache problem or am I doing something wrong?

    Please let me know,
    Angelos

By the way, If I change the protection method from new_rewrite to htpasswd, the valid username and password is not accepted.
