We are running the most current version 3.14. I would like to set up a referral system where we could setup a contest. The member or even non member would be able to send traffic via his referral/affiliate link, and the person with the most member sign ups would win a prize. In other words the person with the highest sign ups to our membership site would be the winner. Anybody have any suggestions?
Good idea. Think you're gonna have to keep looking at your affiliate stats and sending out emails letting people know who the top 10 are. David
So guess I my question is could I do this using the affiliate component and just set the affiliate commission to 0? so I can track everybody's stats?
I'm not seeing the affiliate link on this page: amember/member.php. Everything is enabled. Created a text link, which seems kinda goofy, shouldn't the affiliate link be generated by Amember automatically when a affiliate signs up?? what I am missing here?
Is your affilaites turned on in amember? Then, amember setup /affiliates/ Affiliates Signup Type / All new members become affiliates. If you already have members you want to add, you'll need to make a new product and add them to it. David
That's a pain. Still not seeing any links though, I wonder why it has to be come complicated, I only have some much patience with this then I need to move on. Manual was not very helpful either.
