    Hello,

I am having trouble understanding the system in place for subscription referrals.

We simply want to allow 3rd party website owners (who receive a lot of traffic to their sites) the chance to earn a percentage of sales from subscribers to our site coming from their site.

Our standard "Subscribe Now" page URL looks something like http://mysite.com/member/signup

We would like to give our "partners" links to our subscribe page that might look something like http://mysite.com/member/signup/?ref=partnerx that they can place on their own website so we know who new subscribers are coming from.

Do our partners need to be members on our website in order for something like this to work?

We just want to be able to track subscribers coming a certain partner's website every month, then cut that partner a check to send by mail.

Would also be great if we can track referrals going to any page on our website such as the homepage (http://mysite.com/?ref=partnerx)

I'm sure something like this is simple for aMember but not sure how to set up exactly. Seems like aMember wants to configure a bunch of unnecessary settings and/or require our partners to have a "member" account on our site.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Alright, I believe I figured it out. I guess our partner websites will need their own "member" accounts on our website. Then after I make them an affiliate in our admin, an Affiliate tab will appear on their My Account page. Also figured out how to use the Text Links section in the admin to set up links for our Affiliates to record their referrals with!

No, you can create an affiliate only signup form.

David, can you tell me if it is possible to have a "sub0affiliate" signup page? So that a user can refer other people to his affiliate signup page where they will become tier-2 affiliates. Please let me know. Thanks!
