Is there any way in which we can enable a referral system in amember? And if not, would it be hard to create one? I am looking for features to grow the site and this one is something that would really be useful. I have searched around and found a suggestion to try and use the affiliate system for that. I would still love a plain old fashion referral system where each member would have the ability to invite friends by using a link under the "useful links" on their member page but I'll use the affiliate system option as a workaround. Now what happens is that I don't necessarily know how to do that. After I enable the affiliate system in amember Cp, I go under affiliates and press save. I left the comission field blank or should I put 0 instead? And then I log in with a user but I don't see anything changed on the member page. Shouldn't they have a link that they can use to send invites or how does the affiliate program work exactly? Thanks, Dan
After enabling the affiliate system, you need to create some links and banners. These will then be listed in the members account when they click on the affiliate link. the member needs to be set as an affiliate to see this. Theres no email "invite" feature in amember, i think because it may be prone to abuse. But you could add one to it. David
