Hi folks, We've got our system working well. All new members are signing up for a "free trial" period. And all products are within the same "renewal group" (free trial, monthly, semi-annual and annual). We send out advance expiration notices 2 weeks before expiration to all (free trial only). We also have it set to send another email to free trial members, just 2 days before expiration. This email tells the member we've given them a bonus extension of their free trial. So, here's the question. We haven't experienced this yet, so we want to know what to expect: When a member pays for a recurring monthly subsciption (remember, all products are in the same renewal group), will they still receive the expiration notice for their free trial? Or, will aMember ignore (not send) the expiration notice for the free trial because the member has subscribed with a paid subscription? Thanks in advance for this. Jade
Hi Alexander, Thanks for the answer. However, it appears to be incorrect. Today was the day when the customer we were wondering about would have been sent the notice. But the notice wasn't sent. So, apparently aMember recognized that the new subscription was for the same renewal group and didn't send the notice. I'm not sure why, but I'm glad Cheers, Jade
Well if it was not sent, this seems to be a problem with configuration. aMember do not check renewal groups when send expiration messages .
