Hi All, Looking for some help on how I can use authorize.net and amember to setup a free 30 day trial with the following requirements: Start with: 1) suscriber only access to joomla site 2) Free 30 day trial, then monthly recurring fee 3) New member provides credit card info, card is verified but not charged and then reoccuring billing to monthly fee after 30 days. 4) Automated subscription created after credit card verification 5) Authorize.net payment gateway (SIM or AIM) Can this be achieved? If so is there documentation to help me with this configuration between amember and authorize.net? Regards Erik
It is possible and there is nothing special. Enable and configure Authorize_AIM as described in the manual: aMember CP -> Setup -> Plugins : enable authorize_aim aMember CP -> Setup -> AuthorizeAIM - go to and follow instructions. Then create a product for aMember with trial 1 price = 0, trial 1 period = 1m, price = 15 (for example), period = 1m It is all to get billing working. Then install Joomla integration plugin according to instructions. Of course, all users must register in aMember, not in Joomla.
Hi Alex Thanks, for that overview. I have doubled checked and have all the correct settings. However, when I try to submit the payment I get this error: "Payment failed: Recurring Billing is required." Would this error message indicate what I am doing wrong? Thanks Erik
Thanks Alex Found the problem. T he Required status in My Recurring Billing Field in the Form settings in AUthorize.net needed to be unchecked: Settings: Form: Recurring Billing has 3 options View Edit Required. "Required" checkbox must be unchecked! Thanks again for the great support! Erik
