I am planning to implement aMember on a new site running Expression Engine & vBulletin. I won't be charging anything for access, but I need to restrict access to certain pages based on age. Here's what I have in mind... *SCENARIO #1* If the surfer is not logged in, and he comes to a page that contains suggestive material, instead of the page he was expecting to see, he gets a page that says "This page contains material suitable for adults only. Are you over 18? [YES] or [NO]." If he clicks yes... he goes on to the appropriate page. If he clicks no, he just goes back to where he was. *SCENARIO #2* If the surfer is logged in to the site and he is over 18 (requires that we ask his age when he registers), then he bypasses the "nag" screen completely and is taken directly to the page he requested. In this scenario, a logged-in surfer who is under 18 will be shown a page stating "Your profile indicates that you are under 18, and this page is intended for adults only. Please visit one of these other links instead..." I saw a system similar to this recently, but I'm sure it's a privately coded job. How hard/expensive would it be to implement this with aMember? I will buy it in a heartbeat, if I know this functionality can be worked in. Kind regards.
This functionality can be implemented as custom work for aMember. If you contact us via helpdesk, we will be able to say exact price.
