I'm walking through the steps to take care of this security issue that came out in an email a few days ago. Part of the process is to edit the profile.php file... The lines of code that I am suppose to replace do not exist in the profile.php file - is this going to be a problem if it isn't updated? Thank you!
Yes, it will be a problem. Please seek for "name_f" in the profile.php file and paste the following 10 lines. Or just contact us via helpdesk with ftp info - we will apply the fix.
Okay... I found "name_f"... and replaced the following 10 lines with the code given. So far so good... I'll keep going through the process of editing and hope it all goes smoothly since I'm in the middle of a huge membership site launch! I am using version: 2.3.4PRO BTW... Thanks! Jenni
