Gentlemen, As I approach the upstart of an online automotive training website, I have decided to base the site on a content management system (CMS) application. I have spent a lot of time reviewing all the CMS apps that are supported by an aMember Pro plugpin. Of all the apps, I like phpWebsite the most... so naturally I have a couple of pre-sales questions about the phpWebsite plug-in. Plug-In Functionality Could I get a more detailed explanation of the plug-in functionality? I assume that the user information in the two databases would be "synced". I want to use the phpWebsite app for as much of the page display as possible to keep the same look and feel. Question 1 How would the two seperate account sign-up / log-ins work? I have read the explanation about BBS integration. Would this work the same way? It is not all that clear to me... For instance, will I be able to set it up so that when a member logs in using the phpWebsite log in panel, they will also be logged into the aMember account? The only other thing that I am not certain on is the integration of aMember pages into the site. It looks like it is not easy to have an "external" webpage open up inside the phpWebsite system. I know I can have an aMember page open in a new window.. is this going to create a problem? phpWebsite Website Is there a working example of a phpWebsite driven site that is using aMember for membership control? I would love to see a few!! Thanks in advance for any help with this
1. yes, it works in the same way. and "single-login" is working. You just install aMember into separate folder and make links to it. It is usual way. 2. Unfortunately, I have no permissions to publish these links. We allow our customers to publish links to their aMember-driven sites at http://www.cgi-central.net/scripts/amember/sites.php but as I remember, nobody submitted a link to phpWebSite driven site.
