I am having a problem with amember crashing my server. After running a process like emailing members, adding members etc. I get a no dns error for all amember pages e.g. member.php login.php. I contacted my administrator and they replied with the following message.

I assure you this has nothing to do with Viva Control Panel. Viva is a php application. It seems that the amember program is causing the problem. Can you contact the makers of the program and find out why it is causing a Seg Fault in the Apache server?

[Fri Mar 19 10:09:41 2004] [notice] child pid 4774 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Fri Mar 19 10:09:44 2004] [notice] child pid 4780 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Fri Mar 19 10:09:44 2004] [notice] child pid 4757 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Any help would be great. The site is live and I am swamped with emails from members who can't login to the amember area and signup area.

Upgrade to Zend-encoded version helped to resolve this issue.

    Zend

I am using Zend. I had to make a cron job to restart apache every 15 minutes, because amember keeps crashing apache.

    What mean "using Zend" ?
Have you installed Zend Optimizer and are you using Zend-encoded version of aMember files?

Could you send FTP info to support?

Yes I installed Zend Optimizer and I am using the Zend encoded files which I downloaded from my member area.

I will PM my ftp info to you.
