    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to sell a subscription with an option to buy it on CD too? Basically I'm selling subscriptions to Anti-Virus and I want to be able to offer customers the choice to order a physical CD-rom or a download. I have many variations of the subscription (i.e 1 computer 1 year, 2 computers 1 year etc etc as well as different types of product Anti-Virus, Internet Security etc) so I dont want to have to create new a new subscription for each one with a CD included - there would be far too many itmes for the customer to have to wade through in order to find what they are looking for. So I wondered if there is a way to to have the customer simply check a box or something that says Include CD on the order page and that adds an extra amount to the physical product onto the order.

You could make the CD a standalone product and show it only on the member page. That way, once they are inside they can order the CD at any time.

Or you could (as you wrote) create two products: one with and one without CD.
Whether you go for Jack's solution depends on if you have checked the Select Multiple Products box in the Advanced settings.

Depending on the payment system, you may not be able to do the Select Multiple Products if you are mixing subscription and non-subscription products.

I think you are gonna need to bundle your offers.

David, isn't it not mixing recurring and and non-recurring payments, rather than not mixing subscription and non-subscription products?

Ah I see, but no not the same meaning. What I meant is the Recurring Billing option switched on for a subscription. When that option is on than mixing products is not possible.
