Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way for the system to send out a reminder mail to subscribers 1 week before their trial period ends - this serves both as a customer benefit, and also to prevent myself from having to do manual refunds when some of my subscribers realized they're billed and want me to refund the first month's subscription fee because they'd forgotten to cancel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
"Expire notification" will kind work, but it will continue to send it out on any expiring billing- eg recurring bills. But i guess youre ok with that? Its in the email settings page in the admin area. David
Hi, Thanks for replying. Do you mean to say that existing subscribers will receive notification every month? I don't think that's what I want - they will be annoyed, worse still, if I keep reminding them to cancel, they just might cancel! Anyway to set this up just once, i.e. a week before the free trial ends?
I had the exact same question, and thought this would solve it, but I can't find "Expire notification" in the admin system. I am in Setup / E-mail, but there is no mention of "Expire notification" (I'm using v4).
aMember currently does not send expiration e-mail notifications if a recurring subscription is active. You can setup "autoresponder" notification in aMember CP -> Protect Content -> E-Mail For example if your trial is 30 days, setup "New Autoresponder" to be sent 23 days after purchase.
Hi Alex, Thanks for your reply. I've set up the autoresponder mail as you've advised. Will come back to you again if there's any problem. Cheers.
