I'm having trouble following all of the instructions to install the Authorize payment plugin. I closely followed the installation instructions. Everything seemed ok except that I added a MD5 hash secret word and had no place to put it in the aMember Authorize plugin page in the aMember admin. I assume that this is a problem. When I run a test charge the site gives me the response "Payment failed" and then displays a link to a page on the site that I can't find specified anywhere. 1. Are the updated installation instructions for Authorize.net that address the MD5 hash secret word? I'm hoping that this is my problem. 2. Where is this link coming from? I've searched the aMember admin and the Authorize.net settings and can't find this link anywhere. Any ideas? I'm running script version 2.1.8PRO. Thanks in advance for your help.

Same Boat... I am trying the same thing... No place to enter the secret word from MD5 hash. Getting error like... The following errors have occurred.(97) This transaction cannot be accepted. Don't we have to enter something in the referral URL section of WebLink? BTW, if WebLink is off, you must ask Authorize.net to turn it on for you (use chat).
Please replace file amember/plugins/payment/authorize/config.inc.php with attached one (unpack first). Then go to aMember CP -> Setup -> Authorize and enter Secret Word
I'm confused as all get out! There are 2 Authorize.net plug ins, but on one set of directions. One is SIM (Simple) and the other is AIM (Advanced). From the posts I have found, it says that WebLink is useless, yet the document says to enable WebLink Method. Authorize.net states they will be phasing it out soon. So, I figured I'd try AIM...looks like the same setup as SIM...????? I have yet to get Authorize.net to work at all! What is the recommended method????
It is better to follow instructions that appear on aMember Cp -> Setup -> Authorize page (see below on page) There are 2 methods: SIM (former WebLink with small addition, implemented by "authorize" plugin): - doesn't support recurring billing; - don't require your to have SSL certificate AIM (implemented by "authorize_aim") - supports recurring billing; - require you to have your own or shared SSL certificate; Important note - when you switch from "authorize" to "authorize_aim", don't forget to make "Relay Response" setting in Authorize.Net account blank (rollback change that you made during "authorize" plugin installation)
Alex, I'm using the AIM method. Is there a way I can (or do I need to) use the hash with the advanced method. I have another script that has an AIM plugin that allows for the MD5 hash to be entered. amember 2.3.6
Same Response "payment failed" I called authorize.net about my "payment failed" response. They advised that they need the delimitated response to find out why it's failing. They advised that cgicentral/admin get that response for me. I don't think there is a way for us to get that delimtated response. I already have an open ticket on this - i just need help now! i
It is nice that problem is resolved now. It all happened because new hosting does not have working cURL.
Alex--- all fixed working great!!!! Alex--my host provider set me up with the cURL- all fixed working great!!!!
