Setting up mailing lists

    I was very pleased to find out aMember comes with a beautiful and easy to use mass email system. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for how to setup mailing lists. I would like to provide members the option to sign up for certain mailing lists and then be able to mail those certain lists.

    Perhaps using free products? Any ideas?

    Yep, creating products and signup forms. I would however suggest that you look at 3rd party email systems to handle email delivery to your lists. Although amember is a good system, the 3rd parites like aweber specialize in email deliverability, reporting and other added features.

    Cool I'll check that out. I'm using SendGrid to send my emails and only need to send out plain text messages so this setup should work perfectly as long as I can group certain members together.
