I'm getting ready to launch a shopping cart solution to sell some DVDs alongside online memberships on my current project. Amember will cover teh online memberships just fine, but I need to decide on a tangible goods solution. Anyone have any experience with integrating Amembers users with Zen Cart, OS Commerce, or magento that they'd be willing to share? It'll be a pretty basic shopping cart, only 10 products tops, and I'll want to try to hook it in with a drop ship system or one kind or another. Advice/Feedback is appreciated if anyone has working solutions... thanks
Hi Jasonbcil, There are a couple of ways you can do this. 1) I have several online stores using aMember that, in addition to memberships, sell DVDs and CDs. I use http://www.cd-fulfillment.com ship the discs (total cost, including shipping, averages ~$5 per disc). I have a plugin for aMember that automates the request to cd-fulfillment so it works just like the digital sales. 2) I also have a couple of stores that I have integrated aMember and Magento together. The entire store, selection and and payment happens through Magento and passes the information along to aMember for processing plugins, etc. You can drop me an email at {my username here} @ hotmail.com and I can set up a demo for you to give you an idea of how it works.
