Show additional info when paid product is chosen

I have a question regarding free & paid products and the members mailing addresses

We are currently using vBulletin (4.1.11), aMember (4.2.3) & the aMember vB plugin on a test site before going live.

On the free product we do not need the user to supply any additional info, i.e. address, phone, etc. But for the paid subscriptions we do require this info for accounting purposes. Is there a way to only show the address info when a paid product is chosen?

Do you need to do this on the signup form or can it be done on the thanks page?

I would prefer it to be on the sign-up form if possible, I can live with it on the Thanks page.

If I do put it on the thanks page can I require it to be filled out before they log in, if they paid for a subscription? And if so would I need to have 2 separate thanks pages (1 paid & 1 free)?

I think the thanks page solution is the simplest- and wont hinder signup %s too
The only problem with this is if they somehow skip the thanks page, maybe close the browser and come back later etc..

Yeah, i think i would do 2 different thanks pages, or have the login link on the thanks page go to the profile page in amember where they can then fill in their address etc...
