sign up page and ftp and linking

hi all

i need help .. alot of it lol i had sent a trouble ticket but with as many questions as i have it could be months before my members get access to my site again since there's a 24 hour wait.

k .. my question .. how do i edit the sign up page to add more feilds for information?

and one more question... how do i add my protected content via ftp? do i upload it the same way as before?

and one more thing. my "members area" isn't password protected (thats how i want it) but my downloadable files are. how do i link to those files so only members can download them?

sorry if these are stupid questions, but i am so lost with this

a friend directed me on how to add to the sign up page. but i still need help on the others

This is done in the amember admin / add fields.

Create a new directory
eg /premiumcontent/
upload your content to that directory.
Protect it with amember admin / protect folders (use new_rewrite protection)

In the amember product / additional URLs
/premiumcontent/your.mp3|MP3 Name
